Who are these? by Micah Betzner

Who are these with hopeless faces
On far shores and distant lands?
Who are these in darkest places
With no life on heathen strands?

Who are these ’round ev’ry corner
Down each street and busy road?
Is that one your friend or neighbor?
Living life with sin’s great load

Who will go to tell each lost one
Of the Life, and One True Way?
Give me grace to do my mission
To share Christ, and not delay

A burden, Lord, a burning fire
Please give to me this hour
A passion for this pressing need
To tell God’s saving power

Vision by Cindy Wyatt

Lord, give me a burden for souls and a vision of eternity
Help me to see the world and people the way you see
May I remember all the souls that you died for
and how on the cross the sins of the whole world you bore
Give me a vision of the destiny of all the souls that are lost
and remember how you died to save them so in hell they’d not be tossed
May I have a peripheral as well as tunnel vision
and show people the way of salvation so they can make the decision
To have a view of the whole world in the way you do
and see the one poor sinner that I need to speak to
Help me to see an eternal soul through your heart and eyes
and testify of your great love and mercy and to be wise

Sowing The Gospel Seed by Cindy Wyatt

Keep pressing forward and onward to the call
even when at times you stumble and fall
Just get up and keep on going
and the gospel seed keep sowing
You never know what the harvest will be
Trusting God for the results is the key
God will reward the smallest deed done for his glory
When we trust and obey and convey the gospel story
Keep looking to the Lord for his power and might,
loving souls and showing them Jesus is the light
God has already prepared hearts for the harvest
Just let him fill you with His Spirit and he will do the rest

Tick-a-Lock by Belinda van Rensburg

For those who stand upon the Rock
Now’s not the time for ‘tick-a-lock’;
Time is short; it’s running out
For souls to make the turn-about.

God’s children have to ‘show and tell’
If we’re to save the lost from hell.
No need to go ‘undercover’
To share Jesus with a brother.

We are the children of the Light;
Commissioned to shine very bright –
We have to spread and live the Word
To people who have not yet heard.

So turn the key the other way;
Do not be shy to share and pray –
Go forth and find a soul who’s lost;
Be bold and do not count the cost.

Who? by Louis Gander

We read – each day – Your Holy Word.
We know that it is true.
We promise to obey you Lord –
but ‘WHAT’ are we to do?

We read and understand Your Word,
You know our lives are pure.
We promise to obey you Lord –
but ‘WHEN’? – we’re not so sure.

We read and comprehend Your Word,
You know we inward grow.
We promise to obey you Lord –
but ‘WHERE’ are we to go?

We are as ready as Your Word,
prepared to follow through.
We promised to obey you Lord –
but ‘WHO’ should follow You?

We always keep on promising
and say we’ll do our best –
but when it gets right down to it
our ‘will’ has taken rest.

Oh, Jesus took up His own cross –
and died for me and you –
and Jesus did not ask and ask –
the ‘what’, ‘when’, ‘where’, or ‘who’….

‘WHAT’ we do – is follow Him.
The ‘WHEN’ is now, you see.
‘WHERE’ is to lost, dying souls,
and ‘WHO’ is always “me”.

His Blood Isn’t Owned by Nathanael Ward

As blood and water hit the ground,
Something changed – Life I found.
The lies that entangle,
The sin that enslaves,
Were not to be found on that glorious day!

Two-Thousand years later His blood still remains,
Freeing the prisoner and breaking the chains!
His body was broken not just for me,
Nor for the perferct or righteous you see.
He died for the sinners, the broken, recluse.
His blood isn’t owned by just me or you.

He gave up his life upon that cross,
For Everyone, Everywhere, no matter the cost!
So listen up now and listen up well,
Now is the time, His story to tell!
It’s up to us to carry our cross,
To the ends of the earth, to the broken and lost.

The I AM Hath Sent Thee by Deborah Smith Plemmons

In the desert, a burning bush Moses found;
He took off his shoes, for he was on holy ground.
“Go set the children of Israel free,
For the I AM hath sent thee.”

God told Gideon to fight the Midianites so;
God would get the victory, but Gideon had to go.
“Take three hundred men to battle for Me,
For the I AM hath sent thee.”

God led David to Goliath, a man of fame;
David was to slay the giant in the Lord’s name.
“Take five stones and a sling, trustingly,
For the I AM hath sent thee.”

God spoke to Paul on the road to Damascus;
He listened to God, who said it would be thus:
“Preach the Word to set souls free,
For the I Am hath sent thee.”

God tells us there is a battle to win
Against the flesh and Spirit warring within.
“Resist the devil, and he will flee,
For the I AM hath sent thee.”

God said there will be giants in the land;
Trials and tribulations will be on every hand.
“Go with the Sword and by you I will be,
For the I AM hath sent thee.”

God commands us to go into all the world,
To tell the lost who have never heard.
“Preach to every creature about Me,
For the I AM hath sent thee.”

A Lighthouse For Christ by Deborah Smith Plemmons

There are many lighthouses
That shine now as before.
They’ve guided many ships
Safely into the shores.
They remind me of our Savior,
Who is a Light to all mankind.
For when He guides us each day,
Peace and safety we will find.
Let your Light shine before men,
That your good works they will see.
May they praise your heavenly Father
And find safety in eternity.
